Express Items via OverDrive - Partner Libraries Update
As of July 1st, partner library Members can no longer borrow HPL Express items via Overdrive. More to Borrow partner libraries will be offering Lucky Express (Skip the line) titles to their cardholders only. This will help manage wait times for popular titles. Lucky Express is a collection of in demand titles with a seven-day loan period, available with no wait.
Our partners will still be able to borrow titles from the rest of our collection. www.hpl.ca/more-to-borrow

Residents of Hamilton need a library card to use a computer. Guest Passes are available to visitors from out of town, with proof of address.
All computers automatically shut down 15 minutes before the branch closes. Check branch hours.
All computers have USB ports (to use with USB drives), internet access and additional software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Accessibility options (magnification, text narration, on-screen keyboard) are available on all public computers. An accessible keyboard and trackball mouse are available at each branch.
Printing, photocopying and scanning are available at all locations. The first 4 black and white pages printed each day are free. Additional printing costs 10 cents per page for black and white and colour printing is 20 cents per page.
You can also use our wireless printing service, Print on the Go. Submit your print job online, receive confirmation and go to any branch to release and pick up your print. Bring your library card. Here’s a Quick Steps instruction sheet.
HPL’s wireless network complements computer access and enables Members to use online resources and the internet with their wireless-enabled equipment. Wi-Fi is available during open hours and outside the branch 24/7.
